Entertainment

If you’re all ‘templed’ out and need some other form of entertainment then Phnom Penh is the place to be.

There’s the Cambodia┬ácountry club complete with horse riding, tennis, fencing and sumo suit wrestling just to mention a few. Non-members are welcome and the annual fees are reasonable.

There’s western styled night clubs, gay bars, hostess bars, non-hostess bars. Restaurants aplenty complete with $600 Champagne. wines and spirits. There’s a nearby zoo, although not up to western standards it is a place with animals your children can see.

There are now several excellent movie theaters in town showing current movies as well as some art house theaters showing artsy movies.
